I've been a storyteller since childhood. Finding the most direct root to inspiration and passion through story has been the center of my world for as long as I can remember.
As a young professional, I worked in a multitude of industries including mental health, entertainment, quality assurance for big pharma and pop culture, which helped me develop my voice and allowed me to continue pursuing my passion as a storyteller.
As my career progressed, I landed work as Senior Editor of Mobile Electronics magazine, where I managed the day-to-day needs of the magazine, including writing and editing the majority of printed and online content, as well as cultivating and managing a team of freelance writers and editors.
This led to the creation of my own publication, PAN Magazine, where my collective skills were put to the test creating the website, email newsletter and podcast content, while building a team of interns and fostering relationships throughout the steelpan world.
I'm also musician with my main instrument being the steelpan. Since high school I've been performing with groups all over the world to showcase the versatility and beauty of an instrument that so many people either have never heard of or only know it as a novelty to be played on a beach as part of Caribbean atmosphere.
My goal in all that I do has always been to inspire through action and to show the world that even the misunderstood can come into their own and make themselves as they see fit.
